Raphaël 8404 Kolinsky Sable Brush - Size 0

Delivering high-precision detail control without sacrificing fluid capacity, the Raphaël 8404 Kolinsky Sable Brush (Size 0) is a staple micro-detail tool for serious display painters and tabletop hobbyists. Handcrafted in France using premier pure Kolinsky red sable hair, the 8404 Series feature a uniquely plump belly that stores thinned paint effectively, preventing the tip from drying out mid-stroke.

Size 0 is tailored for delicate detail work on 28mm–32mm scale miniatures—such as painting eyes, teeth, purity seal script, fine armor lining, metallic trim, and sharp edge highlights where precision is paramount.

Key Features:

• Pure Kolinsky Red Sable Hair: Exceptional spring, snap, and fluid holding capacity for smooth, effortless micro-strokes.
• Needle-Sharp Point: Precision hand-shaped tuft retains a crisp, needle-thin point even under fine pressure.
• Full Belly Reservoir: Holds significantly more fluid than standard fine-detail brushes, keeping paint flowing predictably on small details.
• Seamless Black Nickel Ferrule: Secured on a comfortable short black handle finished with Raphaël's signature orange tip.
